An anime series set after an alternate World War II, where Magecraft reshaped the world that survived it.
Great Beast Albion is being reimagined as an anime series set in the aftermath of an alternate World War II — a world where Magecraft reshaped warfare and left a changed Britain in its wake. The series moves beyond the historical documentary lens of the original docudrama into a fully animated, character-driven story set after the war, exploring how the world that survived it carries on.
The original Great Beast Albion docudrama — exploring how Magecraft reshaped the course of the war through historical analysis, expert commentary and dramatised reenactments — remains available to watch under Other Projects. Think of it as the documentary record of the world the new anime series now lives in.
The anime series is currently in development.
