About Creative Bandit Studios

A Solo Creative Lab for AI Filmmaking and Storytelling

What is Creative Bandit Studios?

  • Creative Bandit Studios is not a company, not a brand, and definitely not a startup. It’s an unincorporated association — a fancy way of saying: this is just me, working on personal creative projects in my spare time, using AI tools to tell stories I care about.

  • It’s not monetised.

  • I’m not for hire as a studio.

  • But I am open to collaborations and actively seeking professional opportunities in the creative industry.

If you’re here because you saw my name on an application, this site is where I put my work — a personal portfolio and sandbox for exploring modern, AI-assisted filmmaking.

What’s an Unincorporated Association?

It’s just a formal term for an individual or group working together toward a shared goal without being a legal company.

Creative Bandit Studios has:

  • No legal structure

  • No investors

  • No commercial backing

  • No monetisation — just one person funding everything personally

It’s a space to experiment, learn, and build — not to sell anything.

Who’s Behind This?

Just me. I work a 40-hour week in a regular job that pays the bills and funds this studio.

Here’s how it breaks down:

  • Time for creative work: ~28 hours a week (evenings, weekends, and lunch breaks)

  • Annual creative budget: ~£2,500 (covers all tools, subscriptions, assets, experiments)

  • Team: One person wearing all the hats — writing, directing, animating, producing, editing

This means every single thing on this site was made from scratch with limited time, limited tools, and zero outside help.

Why I Do This

  • I’m using Creative Bandit Studios as a portfolio to:

  • Show what I can do, even with tight limits

  • Learn and evolve with new AI tools and creative workflows

  • Build worlds, characters, and stories that I find interesting

  • Document the creative process honestly — glitches, delays, compromises and all

This is not about going viral or building a fanbase. It’s about putting in the work, staying consistent, and proving my storytelling instincts in real projects — no matter the limitations.

What This Isn’t

  • To be clear:

  • This isn’t a commercial studio

  • I don’t take commissions or paid gigs under the “Creative Bandit” label

  • I don’t monetise any of this — no ads, no sponsors, no affiliate links

  • I’m not for hire as Creative Bandit Studios

But I Am Open To…

  • Collaborative projects (especially story-driven or experimental ones)

  • Employment in creative roles — this is exactly what this site is here to support

  • Sharing knowledge and workflows with other indie or AI filmmakers

If you’re hiring or building something cool and want someone who’s already used to working under pressure with minimal resources — I’d love to talk.

Conflict of Interest? Nope.

  • All Creative Bandit Studios work is:

  • Created outside of any day job or employment

  • Done on my own time, using my own tools and budget

  • Unaffiliated with any current or past employer (unless explicitly credited)

“Creative Bandit Studios” is simply my personal creative label — nothing more, nothing less.

In Summary

Creative Bandit Studios is where I prove to myself — and hopefully future employers — what can be done with limited time, limited budget, and a stubborn need to make cool stuff. This is my filmmaking lab, storytelling sandbox, and digital CV.

Thanks for checking it out.
